Love A Parade? Suffern To Mark Veterans Day In Style

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Know a veteran who would love to march in a parade on Saturday to celebrate Veterans Day?

The Village of Suffern and American Legion Post 859 are asking all scouts, school children, participants, and residents to reach out to a veteran they know, to invite to take part in a parade and ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Those who wish to participate should meet at 11 a.m., at Suffern Village Hall (61 Washington Ave.), the parade will proceed to Soldiers Monument on Washington Avenue where a ceremony will take place.
